Activities Personally Tailored For YouMany activities can also be arranged for people staying at KLUB KOKOS, both for the young and the not so young. At KLUB KOKOS our main interest is to provide a bridge for visitors to further understand the intricate lifestyle of the Balinese, in particular introducing you to the way of life around our rural setting. As KLUB KOKOS has developed alongside the community of Bangkiang Sidem, we have aimed to develop a further understanding between Eastern & Western ways of life. One of the ways that you may be interested in learning more about the people of Bali is by experiencing some of the skills that our local community has to offer. Our guests are invited to try:
The local people of Bangkiang Sidem have so many different skills and they would love to share them with you during your stay at KLUB KOKOS. |

| Even if you are only staying with us for a short term, we encourage you to increase your knowledge of BAHASA INDONESIA, the official language used throughout Indonesia. You may also want to try some BASA BALI which is also spoken by the local Balinese (together with bahasa Indonesia). This may be accomplished informally by inviting any of the staff to help you learn the language. We also have Indonesian language texts, novels and magazines available in our on-site library. For your information, further details on the Indonesian language, together with some useful words and phrases, can be found in our Bali Travel Guidebook. | ||||||

For those of you that might like to have lessons in BATIK, Balinese COOKING or the fundamentals of the MUSIC of the GAMELAN, we will be glad to help you enrol in one of these classes held in Ubud. Having had many years experience in teaching in Australian secondary and primary schools, Cathy and Krishna have the experience to tailor-make a program to suit everyone’s tastes, from the single visitor to groups of up to 25 people (depending upon accommodation requirements). |

Programs for GroupsKLUB KOKOS is particularly interested in helping school and other common interest groups discover more about Bali than just where the best bargain is to be found. For school groups staying at KLUB KOKOS we prepare a series of age appropriate worksheets for the teacher to do with the students as a lead up to their trip into another world - a culture so different from their own experience. With 20 years experience in the teaching field, Cathy is able to organize a full program to suit the needs of your group, arranging all of your transport needs, tours, dance performances, workshops for activities, meals and accommodation in advance. Cathy will also provide an activity book that includes information about the program, as well as lots of other useful information about the Ubud area and Bali in general, as well as exercises/worksheets to complete. These books are personally tailored to the program and age-level of the group. Children are WelcomedWe also always have in mind the needs of the younger visitor, making KLUB KOKOS safe for little children and offering a variety of books or games to entertain them when they are relaxing at the hotel. A special children’s center is part of the gallery complex, where parents may safely leave their offspring while they take a relaxing swim or stroll through the neighborhood.
